I was hesitant to try yoga for the first time. As a former athlete, I felt it wouldn’t meet my needs or expectations. To my surprise, it was the complete opposite. I was instantly hooked and couldn’t wait to try another class.

The combination of a warm room, a workout that was between building strength, staying calm and moving intentionally was something completely new to me, but quickly became exactly what my body needed and craved!

I completed my teacher training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Amazing Yoga in 2014 with Sean and Karen Conley. Sean is a former NFL kicker, and I could identify with him and his background of sports and overworking his body. Sean wrote “The Point After” which has been a reference and reminder to me that yoga is my lifeline and passion. Soon after the training, life took me and my family to South Carolina.

My love for yoga became contagious and teaching was where I would come to life. Being able to share this beautiful practice has been life changing! Beautiful yogi’s that show up on their mats weekly are such an inspiration to me and to my practice, which I am forever grateful for.

Off my mat, you can find me on the tennis court, at the beach, working out and spending time with my two kids, Tori and Alex!
