ERYT-500 YACEP

When I first tried yoga oh so many years ago, I wasn’t impressed.  My first yoga experience was in a YMCA classroom where we pushed desks and chairs out of the way to make space for our mats.  I didn’t know anything about yoga, and I felt lost and left out throughout the practice.  It was a once and done experience.

Fast forward 8 years to my first class at Jiva Yoga where I still didn’t know anything about yoga, but I felt included in the community and guided by the skillful instructors.  That experience left me wanting more.

As I explored more and learned more, I found myself eager to share yoga with others.  I completed my 200-hour training in 2011 and my 500-hour certification in 2014.  I’m now an ERYT-500 instructor who absolutely thrives in the world of yoga and the community that supports it.

My passion is creating skillful sequences in the moment; sequencing that challenges students to meet themselves right where they are and practice from the heart.  I focus on the benefits of aligning the poses and feeling the poses, while allowing the breath to support the practice.

My goal is to share a practice with students that allows them to feel Strong, Humble, Inquisitive, Nourished, and Elevated.  In other words, allows them to SHINE!

Please join me in a class!
