Yoga is in every aspect of my life. My practice has provided me space to breathe and to connect to my body and spirit with a level of compassion and acceptance I had never previously felt. From the moment I began, I embraced the practice wholeheartedly and knew I wanted to share it with others.

My training and inspiration began at Peachtree Yoga Center in Atlanta with Graham Fowler. I went on to train extensively with Tias Little, Doug Keller, Sean Tebor, Baron Baptiste , Mark White, and Sara Powers, with additional influence and inspiration from Stacy Dockins from the Yoga Project, Live Love Teach’s Phillip Urso, and Tim Miller in the Ashtanga system.

Being a licensed Massage Therapist since 1995, I have a great passion for the human body and its anatomy. I view yoga as therapy for the body’s movement, alignment, and spirit. My passion is facilitating my students’ practice to help them realize their untapped potential and their personal powerment, .

I teach a breath and body based vinyasa flow class that is created in the moment, based on who is in the room. I encourage my students to seek both challenge and joy, and to go deeper into relaxation so that they may leave feeling open to whatever comes their way next.

I founded Jiva Yoga in 2001 and am happy to co-own with my husband Ken. Together, with the support of such an amazing Jiva Team, we thrive.

Please join me in class!
