  • Align & Flow

A bit of alignment and a bit more flow. We move and breathe, taking time to pause and feel; observe and adjust. Mindful movement is coupled with breath, and longer holds in poses are complimented with active alignment cues. This class is suitable for students newer to yoga as well as experienced students interested in a lower intensity flow.

  • Slow Flow/Deep Stretch

Slowing down the flow can help you maintain control of your breath, build determination, and intensify your practice. True to it's name, SFDS is a smooth linking of unhurried breath with movement, intensified by mindfully holding postures for several breaths, awakening your body and clearing your mind.  Explore the details of each posture at a comfortable pace to allow your body to deepen into a stretch or pause in a strength-building pose.  Expect deep hip, back and leg openings with longer holds to gain strength and increased mobility.  Get into the rhythm of this truly invigorating class and find true balance in this moving meditation.  Good for all levels.

  • Jiva Flow

This dynamic vinyasa practice is always evolving. Expect a creative sequence in which your teacher unpacks complex poses by building on the foundations of flow. This class may include arm balances and inversions but will always conclude with a full savasana and seated meditation.

Warm:  Add the element of heat (85-90 deg) to create a greater surrender of the muscles as they open and strengthen. This practice will help shake out stagnation and ignite your inner fire.

  • Gentle

Gentle classes are therapeutic and soothing to the soul. Practiced primarily on the floor, poses are deliberate and unhurried, and are not physically demanding. Especially supportive of students who are dealing with stress or injured, this class is appropriate for students of all levels, including those new to yoga.

  • Yin/Restorative

This class targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine.  It also includes supported postures by using bolsters, blankets and blocks that promote deep relaxation, and rejuvenate the nervous system.  Postures are held for 3 to 5 min at a time.  This type of meditative practice complements the more muscularly strenuous styles of yoga and is open to students of all levels.

  • Hatha

Traditional asana (postures) are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility, balance, concentration, and breath control. Based on physical postures, deep breathing, mindfulness, and listening to the body.

  • Yoga Therapeutics

This class employs yoga as therapy, and is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. Students will learn to better manage conditions, and reduce symptoms through unity of mind, body, and spirit. Yoga Therapeutics classes are open to everyone.

  • Soulful Sunday

This class follows our Jiva flow style, and closes with a sprinkle of yin/restorative yoga accompanied by soothing and relaxing devotional singing in savasana.  Come on in and be moved and inspired.

  • Flowtation
This all levels class is a vibrant, invigorating flow that includes mindfulness practices such as guided meditation, breath work and yoga nidra to leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and blissful.
  • Restorative

This deeply relaxing practice combines supported poses, guided relaxation, yogic breathing, and an extended savasana. This meditative practice cultivates a necessary balance between body and mind while dissolving physical and mental tension. Expect to leave feeling delightfully relaxed, renewed, and restored.  Designed for any level student seeking to reduce stress and alleviate its impact on the body.

  • Ashtanga Primary Series

This class refers to the full primary series of the ashtanga system.  This flowing, set-sequence of postures utilizes ujjayi breath and bandhas (energy locks) to increase muscular strength, flexibility, concentration and to deepen one's connection to Self.

  • Stretch
Just what the name implies, you will delve into some good hip, low back, hamstring stretches. Great for everyone who would like to increase mobility and flexibility. A great compliment to a more vigorous practice or sport.

    Great for all levels.
  • Yoga Nidra

A restorative, meditative journey into Yoga Nidra – a rejuvenating experience also known as “yogi sleep.” A blend of lucid awareness and profound rest, this practice allows for revitalization, renewal, and transformation of the body, mind and spirit. A full complement of props will be available to help you find the greatest possible ease and comfort, allowing for deep relaxation while the instructor guides you toward a mindful meditation.
